When October arrives in Sigulda, the Gauja River Valley transforms into a canvas of golden autumn hues, offering ideal conditions for hiking, sightseeing, and cultural experiences. If you’re looking for a perfect spot to enjoy Latvia’s fall beauty, Sigulda is the place to be.

 Outdoor Activities

On October 26, the Gauja Hike takes place, featuring three routes of 12, 20, and 30 km. Participants can enjoy scenic views of Kraukļu Ravine, Paradise Hill, and the Pedestrian Bridge. Even four-legged friends are welcome and will receive special medals for completing the trail.

Throughout the month, various TrekTours hikes allow visitors to explore Sigulda’s natural beauty and forests, ideal for photography and family outings.

 Autumn Experiences

Sigulda offers over 25 viewpoints, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the autumn foliage. From observation towers to walking trails, these spots are perfect for capturing the fall colors and experiencing the serene atmosphere of the Gauja Valley.
