Jelgava's Ice Fairytale: A Winter Spectacle You Won't Want to Miss!

Winter in Latvia takes on a magical dimension with the annual International Ice Sculpture Festival in Jelgava. From February 7th to 9th, the city transforms into a dazzling wonderland of frozen artistry, where talented sculptors from around the globe converge to create breathtaking masterpieces from ice.

This year, the festival celebrates its 26th edition, promising an awe-inspiring spectacle with the theme "The Story of the Universe". Prepare to be mesmerized as over 32 artists skillfully carve more than 80 tons of ice into over 60 stunning sculptures, each narrating a unique tale from the cosmos.
