White Night 2026 in Riga – A Night of Art, Culture and Creativity
Looking for something special to do in Riga this September? On the night of 5–6 September 2026, Riga will once again come alive with art, music, performances and creative experiences during White Night (Baltā nakts).
White Night is one of Riga’s most exciting annual cultural events, inviting locals and visitors to discover the city from a completely different perspective.
Experience Riga After Dark
During White Night, cultural events and artistic experiences will take place across Riga city centre and several neighbourhoods.
The programme includes contemporary art installations, live music, exhibitions, performances, poetry, street art and other creative projects. Several well-known Riga festivals and cultural organisations will also present special White Night programmes.
This year’s motto is “The city flourishes where we are”, focusing on the relationship between people, nature and the urban environment.
One of the best things about White Night is that the programme is free to attend, giving everyone the opportunity to explore Riga’s cultural scene.
